The pride of the Cape Winelands Karate Federation represented South Africa at the 11th Commonwealth Games in Durban recently. Cathleen Morris and Marvin Adams became the first para-athletes to participate in the Commonwealth Games making history by paving the way for other disabled students. Cathleen received silver in the kata category and Marvin received gold in the kata category. Both are students at the Patrick Ross Karate Academy.
