THE Centane-based team Kentane United FC has overtaken FC Relatives from the top of the log standings in the Amathole Hollywoodbets Regional League Stream E.

This follows recent league results where Kentane United FC defeated Ngqamakhwe United FC 3-1 at home to claim the top spot.

Since the start of the season, FC Relatives from Thanga Village near Butterworth had been enjoying the position of log leaders until this past weekend when Kentane United FC reshuffled them.

Currently, Kentane United FC is leading the log standings with 16 points after seven games, followed by Musketeers FC with 15 points in seven matches.

After the recent league results, FC Relatives have dropped to third place in the log standings with 15 points in six games, as they were not scheduled to play last weekend.

Other results in the division saw Young Stars United FC defeating Amakotomane FC 2-1, WSU Butterworth FC beating FC Montego 3-1, and Musketeers FC thrashing Inter City Sports Club 4-0 to remain in second spot with a better goal difference compared to the teams currently occupying third and fourth place in the log standings.

WSU Butterworth FC is in fourth place with 15 points after six games, followed by Ngqamakhwe City FC with 13 points after six games.

This Saturday, the Amathole Hollywoodbets Regional League Stream E fixtures will continue as Kentane United FC hosts Ndabankulu SSS FC; FC Tshabalala faces FC Montego; Inter City Sports Club takes on FC Relatives; Young Stars United FC visits WSU Butterworth FC; Amakotomane FC hosts Ngqamakhwe United FC and Musketeers FC will be visited by Ngqamakhwe City FC.

All the games will be played on Saturday afternoon, and dangerous weapons are not allowed inside the sports grounds.
