MTHATHA Express, a local newspaper of Media24, is from this week expanding its South Edition’s footprint to East London.
A total of 5,000 copies will be delivered at selected retailers and traffic intersections once a month at month-end in the Buffalo City Metro.
East London residents will now not only benefit from hyperlocal news in this edition, but also from the advertisements to help them with their month-end shopping planning.
Mthatha Express has a print order of 70,000 free copies which is published every week on a Thursday.
It is zoned into a North and a South edition. A total of 55,000 copies of the North edition is distributed in Mthatha and surrounds. The South edition has 15,000 copies which are distributed in towns such as Butterworth, Cofimvaba, Elliot, Elliotdale, Engcobo, Idutywa, Kentani, Ngqamakwe, Tsomo, and now East London as well.
