ATHLETES can put their endurance to the test at the annual one-of-a-kind Endurade JBayX two-day/ three-stage trail run from July 13 to 15.

Sponsored by Nutritech, the unique Endurade JBayX entails three individual 20km trail runs – with all three runs starting 12 hours apart.

Covering a total distance of 60km, the event will test the mettle and endurance of all participants.

This year, three new spectator friendly 20km routes have been added to the programme.

There will also be a 10km and 5km trail run on July 15 at 09:00 and 10:00 respectively. These two events are suitable for families, friends, supporters and first-time trail runners.

All the trail runs will start and finish at the Supertubes Park in Jeffreys Bay.

TRAIL RUNNING WORKSHOP

This year, South Africa’s trail running golden couple, Landie and Christiaan Greyling, will be back to compete. They will also present a practical Greyling Coaching Academy Train Run Workshop at the JBay WinterFest Hub at the Supertubes Park at 14:00 on Friday, July 13.

The workshop will concentrate on practical running sessions, skills and techniques, practical guidance on gear and nutrition, pre- and post-run experience, and practical guidance on race day strategy.
