GEAR up and take a swing this March – all for a good cause.
A charity golf day is set to tee off at the Hankey Golf Club on Saturday, March 9 in aid of non-profit organisations Thárros Child and Youth Care Centre and Youth Potential South Africa (YOUPSA) in Hankey.
The format is that of Individual Player Score.
“All businesses and individuals who are passionate about children, are encouraged to take part in this meaningful and memorable fundraiser,” says YOUPSA Director Alexis Salaman.
“It is our wish is to make this a fun and memorable golf day, benefiting hundreds of children in the region.”
Funds raised will go towards Thárros Child and Youth Care Centre and YOUPSA
“The funds will go towards YOUPSA’s weekly creative youth empowerment programme, literacy programme and youth leadership programme,” says Salaman.
“Funds will furthermore go towards the daily needs of Thárros Child and Youth Care Centre, including improvements and renovations to their building.”
Great prizes will be up for grabs.
