THE annual Crouse Classic Invitational is set to once again tee off this December.
The tournament grew from a single 4-ball seven years ago, to a well-organised and prestigious fun competition that raises much-needed funds for local charity organisations.
The event, consisting of 60 players, offers a quality and fun event in a structured environment.
“I am astounded at the interest local residents have shown in the event,” says one of the founding members, Ben Crouse. “The demand to participate is increasing every year.
“The goal of the tournament is to raise money, at least R7 500, for a local charity. This year funds will be donated to Solidarity Helping Hands in Jeffreys Bay. However, the cost involved with the event prevents us from raising any substantial funds.
“We are thus appealing to all businesses and organisations to assist this worthy event by either making a monetary donation or sponsoring branded prizes.”
Those supporting the event, will be able to display their advertising material at the event and prize-giving.
