STRICT security, including the mounted police unit, will be in place at the Jeffreys Bay Caravan Park this weekend for the hosting of the KIA Makietie Jeffreysbaai.

Kouga Community Services Portfolio Councilllor Daniel Benson said the police, municipal law enforcement, security and traffic officers, as well as a private security company, would be working hand in hand to help keep participants and visitors safe.

A temporary fence has also been erected along the seaside boundary of the caravan park to prevent people from accessing the festival terrain from the beach.
