School opens clothes bank

The Jeffreys Bay Primary School officially opened the new clothes bank and upgraded gate for motorists on Friday, April 12 as part of their centennial celebrations. The clothes bank is situated in the original school building in a space previously utilised as the school library. Attending the big reveal are (from left) Nicolene Gericke (teacher from 1972 to 1974 and wife of late Loftie Gericke, principal from 1972 to 1973), Principal Johan Dippenaar, Judy Slabbert (teacher from 1975 to 1984 and wife of the late Geoff Slabbert, principal from 1975 to 1996), Kelly Coetsee (head girl), PJ Alberts (governing body), Jean Joubert (head boy), Jaden Nel (deputy head boy), Brogan Lubbe (deputy head girl) en Deputy Principal Eric van Rooyen.
