Kouga Municipality would like to alert residents and businesses that scammers are currently posing as municipal employees – demanding residents and businesses to pay their municipal account immediately or their electricity will be cut off.
Should you be approached by anyone asking for immediate payment – whether it is in person or via telephone – do not make any payment.
Kouga Municipality will never request account holders to make payment into a different account than the standard municipal account as reflected on statements.
