The Sarah Baartman District Municipality (SBDM) conveys its sincere condolences to the family of the late Councillor Zoliswa Funiselo who passed away on May 25 after a short illness.
Funiselo served as the Portfolio Councillor for Planning and Economic Development within the SBDM at the time of her passing.
Executive mayor, Deon de Vos, who has worked alongside Funiselo said, “Councillor Funiselo was a woman of integrity and had a true passion for service delivery. Her presence will be missed as she was an integral part of the mayoral committee. To her family, friends, and colleagues I wish to extend my condolence, this is a sad day for the district.”
He further said Funiselo, who served as a member of the SBDM council for six years, will be dearly missed by staff and councillors.
The late Funiselo’s funeral details will be released soon.
