The Yellowwoods Jazz Festival is set to make its comeback at Yellowwoods Park in Hankey, on 14 and 15 June 2024.

This year’s event promises to surpass expectations, offering a vibrant celebration of music, community, and the rich cultural heritage of the Eastern Cape – with a special focus on the Gamtoos Valley and broader Kouga region.

A beloved tradition reborn

In a collaborative effort, Kouga Local Municipality and Gamtoos Tourism proudly announce the return of the Yellowwoods Jazz Festival after a break. This revival is part of a comprehensive three-year plan aimed at not only reinstating the festival, but also restoring the Yellowwoods Park to its former splendour.

Two days of music, festivities, and nature’s beauty!

Shake off the winter chill and step into the warmth of an unforgettable open-air jazz extravaganza! Bring your chair/blanket and picnic basket, and get ready for a day filled with fun, music, and togetherness.

Day 1: Family jazz festival (all ages)

Date and time: Friday, 14 June from 11:00 – 21:00

Tickets: Costs include a shuttle from the parking site.

Children (4-18 years) – free

Adults (over 18) – R50

Adults (over 18s only) – R200

Experience a day of vibrant jazz under the stars. This elegant affair is tailored for music enthusiasts, providing a full day and evening of enchanting music amidst the picturesque Yellowwoods Park.
