The Eastern Cape’s favourite festival, the SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees, is back on track!

A head-turning Hilux 2.4 GD6 single cab bakkie sponsored by Algoa Toyota Uitenhage can now be seen on the roads in the Sundays River Valley region.

The Wildsfees will be hosted in Kirkwood from Friday, June 24 to Sunday, June 26 and festival goers will be treated to live performances by 24 of the country’s top artists.

Jennifer Zamudio will open the festival, followed by Bok van Blerk and Voice winner Tasché on the Friday evening, along with Juan Boucher, The Rockets, Ghapi, and Francois van Coke. Kurt Darren and Nelson Mandela Bay Ghoema winner Early B on Saturday night, together with Desmond Wells, Lianie May, Jay, Riaan Benade, Appel, Dr Victor & the Rasta Rebels and Van Pletzen.

Rising Despatch-born star Karla Gouws will be on the big stage Sunday, together with country legends Tommy Dell, Clive Bruce and Dennis East, as well as Chantel Williams, West and Ray Dylan.

Juanita du Plessis + Franja + Ruan will be the final act for 2022.

Before the shows start on the main stage there will be a full day of entertainment, shopping, sharing scrumptious meals and sipping on beverages of choice for the whole family.

Tickets are available at outlets in Kariega (Uitenhage), Kirkwood, Lorraine (Gqeberha/PE) and through the Wildsfees office.

The Wildsfees has a comprehensive Covid-protocol plan in place in compliance with the government regulations as promulgated.
