The inaugural St Francis College MTB Race, proudly supported by First Choice High Protein Recovery, is set to debut on Saturday, November 11.

The exciting and entirely new course will guide participants on a scenic adventure, tracing the picturesque banks of the Kromme and Geelhout Rivers as they wind through privately-owned farmlands and breathtaking landscapes.

Mandla Charlie, assistant brand manager at Woodlands Dairy and First Choice, emphasises that the event’s distinguishing feature is its awe-inspiring scenery.

The course meanders through exclusive farmlands, providing riders with an unmatched, awe-inspiring backdrop of unspoiled natural beauty, a first of its kind in St Francis Bay.

The race will commence and conclude at St Francis Bay College, providing secure parking and an enthusiastic atmosphere for both riders and spectators. Generous prizes are available in all categories, with all proceeds directed towards the development of St Francis College and its students.

Participants will have the option to choose from various route lengths, including 60km, 30km, 10km, and family-friendly alternatives. Furthermore, e-bikes are welcome on both the 60km and 30km trails for those seeking an extra boost.

There are expectations for approximately 1 000 participants. “I hope that participants will exceed their personal limits during the event, as this beverage is perfectly suited for the occasion. Let’s all push past possible,” he concluded.
