NICO Malan High School kicked off the cricket season with an away match against Muir College.
Nico Malan won the toss and elected to bat. The opening pair of DF Smith and Liyabona Cunge took good care of the new ball and batted well to reach their 50 partnership.
Cunge top scored with his maiden 50 and ended with 62 runs. He was well supported by Smith, chipping in with 30 runs. The team were tested with good fast bowling and had to face 30 overs of spin.
Great individual performances and team spirit made this a day to remember.

Nico Malan: 161 all out after 46 overs.
Muir College: 37 all out after 11 overs.
