New security cameras installed to keep Humansdorp safe

In a bid to keep Humansdorp safe and to reduce crime in the area, Kouga Municipality installed an additional four cameras at The Point in Arcadia, Humansdorp, earlier this month – a known hot spot area for crime. Three cameras were also installed at the Humansdorp Senior Secondary School. These close-circuit television (CCTV) cameras are monitored 24/7 by a trained team at the municipality’s integrated intelligence operation centre in Humansdorp.
