At this year’s highly anticipated Mighty Men Conference at Farm Mooi Uitsig in Jeffreys Bay from March 17 to 19, the focus will be to pray for rain for the drought-stricken parts of the Eastern Cape.

According to evangelist Angus Buchan, who will be speaking on March 18 and 19, during the three-day conference they will be preaching the gospel, praying for the sick and have a very concerted and definite prayer meeting for rain for Gqeberha, and the Eastern Cape.

“It concerns me greatly that the Eastern Cape is not getting rain. We want to come as brothers and sisters in Christ, and stand with the people of Gqeberha and the surrounding areas, and beseech the Lord Jesus Christ to bring gentle, soaking, plentiful rain to this area,” said Buchan.

“As you are aware, we have done this before, many times, and God has always answered our prayers and we believe He is going to do it again, but we need your support, because God moves when His people come together in prayer.”

The events for March 17 and 18 will be strictly for men, while the event on March 19 will be for women and children.

Buchan said he is therefore inviting people in the Eastern Cape Province to attend the Sunday morning service on March 19, which is a Christian service, but all are welcome.

Additional speakers at the event will include Eugene Genis on the evening of March 17, and Johnny Louw on the morning of March 18.

Tickets cost R50 per person for March 17 and 18 while March 19 will be free entry.
