“IT is with a deep sense of sadness to learn of the untimely death of Kouga Local Municipality Mayor, Elza Van Lingen,” says Eastern Cape MEC and Cooperate Governance and Traditional Affairs, Fikile Xasa.
MEC Xasa sends his deepest condolences to the Van Lingen family, their relatives and next of kin for the loss of their loved one. He said her death is a loss to the municipality and the community of Kouga at large and that her dedication and commitment to her work will be missed.
