Lombadini Game Farm, situated between Jeffreys Bay and Humansdorp, is set to host an unforgettable Brandy Festival from 10:00 to late on Saturday, August 6 – a first for the region.

The Brandy Festival was born out of a vision Lombardini Game Farm owner, Susan Lottering, had to bring people together for a day of good fun and excitement, after the trauma of COVID-19.

To provide the community with an opportunity to get together with friends and family, Lottering hoped to offer a day that appeals to all ages.

Festivalgoers can experience various free brandy tastings – including KWV, Richelieu, Musgrave, Buffelsfontein Brandewyn, Eendracht Brandewyn, and Sugarbird Distillery, as well as local craft drinks from Pabala and ONE 33. The fun, however, does not stop there.

Therese and Dave will kick-off the live entertainment from 12:00, followed by local singers, Kobus and Carla at 15:00. Burger le Roux will take to the stage at 18:00, followed by much loved boy band, Jan Jan Jan at 19:00 with hits like Wys jou Vleis.

Well-known South African artist, Jay, will entertain audience members at 20:00.

There will also be various stalls – including merchandise and food stalls – a not-to-be-missed outdoor expo, game drives and children entertainment.

Rugby-lovers will be able to watch South Africa take on New Zealand on the big screen at the River Venue at 17:00.

A glamping option is also available for guests who would love to wake up to the sounds of the bushveld or visiting from afar. The private tent camp with 30 tents can be booked at a cost of R700 per tent. The tents sleep two and are equipped with beds and bedding. Breakfast rolls and coffee will be available for campers on Sunday morning. Alcohol will not be for sale to persons under the age of 18. No cooler bags, pets or weapons are allowed.
