The South African Association for Retired People (SAARP) Jeffreys Bay Social Club is inviting all members and visitors to its meeting today, March 17, at 10:00 at Jeffreys Bay Bowling Club.
Thereafter, SAARP will continue with their monthly meeting, which takes place every third Thursday of each month at Jeffreys Bay Bowling Club at 10:00.
The club’s membership officer, Val Jackson, said, “A different speaker is at (each of) our monthly meetings and they cover a wide variety of subjects.”
In addition to their monthly meetings, the social club also has bingo every second Tuesday of the month at Jeffreys Bay Golf Club at 17:30.
“We also hold quizzes, which are popular with both members and non-members which allows them to give the grey matter a work out,” said Jackson.
Furthermore, they have lunch at a local restaurant once a month and they have annual trips to places of interest, which are well-supported by their members.
Jackson said visitors were welcome to join their meeting today, in addition to their quizzes, and their bingo game every second Tuesday of the month.
