The Kouga Business Forum held their gala evening on March 29, during which Dawie Roodt and Willem Basson from the Efficient Group were the guest speakers.
During the event, the KBF also honoured local businesses and businessmen for outstanding achievements.
The function was held at Lombardini Game Lodge just outside Jeffreys Bay, and was attended by about 230 guests.
Chairman Dries du Preez said that throughout the year businesses’ progression, quality of service delivery, and participation, as well as involvement, are assessed, and nominations are received to determine who truly deserves the awards.
“The aim of the awards is to give recognition for excellence to business leaders and businesses in the Kouga region,” said du Preez.
The following individuals and businesses were honoured during the event: Willie Oosthuizen from The Co-op Community Trust (Kouga Community Builder for 2023), Bernadette Swartz from Be Original (Kouga Entrepreneur for 2023), Carl Trahms from Smhart Security (Kouga Business of the year for 2023) and Jeff Clause CEO of St Francis Links (Kouga Business leader of the year for 2023).
