Kouga Business Forum hosts top energy analyst


HUMANSDORP – The Kouga Business Forum will host renowned energy analyst Chris Yelland at the Humansdorp Hotel on 4 June 2026.

Yelland, Managing Director of EE Business Intelligence, is widely respected for his decades of work in energy journalism, policy analysis and advocacy for sustainable solutions.

His talk, “Future Pathways for South Africa’s Energy – Balancing Nuclear, Solar and Beyond”, will explore the challenges and opportunities facing the country’s energy sector.

With local interest in projects such as Thyspunt, the discussion is expected to be particularly relevant for Kouga residents, businesses and stakeholders across the region.

Kouga Business Forum chairman Lieb Swiegers said, “This event is an opportunity for Kouga businesses, stakeholders and residents to engage directly with one of South Africa’s most trusted voices on energy.”

The event will take place at 18:00 at the Humansdorp Hotel in Alexander Street.

Attendance costs R150 per person, while paid-up members of the Kouga Business Forum will receive free entry.
