ENDURADE JBAYX TRAIL RUN
The Endurade JBayX is unique in concept, entailing three individual 20km trail runs, all starting 12-hours apart. The total distance covered will be just over 60km. A 10km trail run and 5km fun beach run/ walk will take place at 09:00 and 10:00 respectively on Sunday, July 15. Both these events are suitable for families, friends, supporters and first time trail runners. The event takes place at the Super-tubes Park in Jeffreys Bay from July 13 to 15.

JBAY WINDFARM MTB CLASSIC

Established as one of the top events on the Eastern Cape off-road calendar, the JBay Wind Farm MTB Classic promises to be a highlight of the JBay Winterfest. The 2018 event will offer something for riders of a range of fitness and skill levels. The start and finish will be at the ‘Kabeljous Hub’. There will be three routes: 25km, 50km and 85km. All three routes will traverse the JBay Wind Farm. The event takes place on Saturday, July 14.

SKINS FISHING COMPETITION

The 6th Winterfest Skins Fishing Competition will take place from the Gap at Kabeljous to Kitchen Windows Restaurant from 07:00 to 13:00 on July 14. The event is one of the biggest and most unique shore angling competitions in South Africa. The competition is divided into six mini comps or ‘skins’, each lasting one hour. The person who catches the highest-scoring fish for that hour, will win the R3 000 cash ‘skin’ and any other prizes allocated to that skin.
