THE Aston Bay Community Hall has been given a new lease of life.
The municipality recently repaired the boundary wall, which was badly damaged when high seas flooded the Seekoei precinct.
“Other improvements have also been completed,” said Community Services Portfolio Councillor Daniel Benson.
“These include burglar proofing, the ceiling, the replacement of doors and a fresh coat of paint.”
He said the repair of the boundary wall had been funded through the municipality’s insurance while the operational budget had been used for the other improvements.
Repairs to the ablution facilities were also done through the Working for the Coast project.
