PINK . . . yellow . . . blue . . . purple . . . green and red.

The colour does not matter – as long as it is sweet and delicious.

CANSA Jeffreys Bay is calling on all avid bakers to help them make a difference in the lives of local residents with cancer – one cupcake at a time.

Bakers can support the first Pink Cupcake Day by baking cupcakes for the sweet event.

Residents can also support the sweet event with a donation per cupcake.

Selina van Deventer from CANSA Jeffreys Bay says, “The aim of the event – replacing the annual CANSA Pink Tea which had to be cancelled due to COVID-19 – is to create awareness and raise funds for residents with life-threatening diseases.

“The much-needed funds are being raised through baking and selling colourful cupcakes.”

FDonations of Ensure Nutrition on the day are also welcome.

All the funds raised will be used to assist cancer patients in financial need.

The Pink Cupcake Day will take place at the promotion court in front of Pick n Pay at Fountains Mall from 09:30 to 13:00 on Saturday, October 3.

COVID-19 safety regulations will be adhered to.
