KOUGA Municipality is going solar to help keep communities safe.
Executive Mayor Horatio Hendricks said a solar public light had already been piloted at Stofwolk, an informal settlement at Hankey, to keep residents safe.
“We will also be installing a further 38 solar lights in high risk public areas in the coming months,” he announced in his State of the Municipality Address.
