Fountains Mall is set to transform into a bustling hub of activity this festive season, offering an array of stalls and markets to provide shoppers and visitors with a truly special shopping experience.

Community Market:

Showcasing Local Talent

A Community Market will be held on Saturday, December 6, from 09:00 to 13:00 at Die Werf. This market aims to spotlight local entrepreneurs and businesses, giving them a platform to showcase and sell their unique products.

Visitors can look forward to an eclectic mix of offerings, including pancakes, pizzas, handmade baby gifts, clay earrings, crochet clothing, embroidery products, hair accessories, hoya plants, jams, kids’ jibbitz, lactose- and gluten-free baked treats, microwave pain relief bags, fresh veggies, perfumes, personalized lights, preserved salads, Yakgona tea, and much more. The market will proceed weather permitting, with updates available on the Fountains Mall Facebook page.

Festive exhibitions in the passages

The mall passages will host a series of exhibitions starting from December 16, aimed at delivering the ultimate festive shopping experience.

Shoppers can explore a variety of gift options such as caramel nuts, Canovi confectionery treats, baby accessories, customized photo frames and coasters, Epa! sauces and pestos, foam cleaner, genuine leather belts and accessories, hair accessories, leather handbags and purses, mobile products, outdoor gear, Perfume Co. Africa, Persian rugs, personalized Santa socks, sheepwool slippers, silver and gold plated jewellery, ultimate health electric massagers, vape products, African accessories, watches, and more.

One of the new exhibitors this year is The Perfume Co. Africa, a local manufacturer of oil-based fragrances inspired by famous designer brands. They offer luxurious perfumes at affordable prices, with distribution opportunities and passive income through multi-level marketing.

Additionally, the Festive Season corner near Clicks will offer mall-goers the chance to have their photos taken with Santa Claus from December 14, 2024. Details on time slots and costs will be displayed at the area.

A Taste of Local night market

Another highligh of the festivities is the “A Taste of Local” night market on Saturday, December 21, from 16:00 to 22:00 at Die Werf, hosted by Jeffreys Bay Tourism and Fountains Mall.

This event will feature a variety of local produce, including wines, rum, gin, and more.

The evening promises to be memorable with food stalls, live music performances by The Geezers, Attie, Eddie Maclean, and others. Santa Claus will also make a special appearance, spreading holiday cheer by distributing sweets and posing for photos with the children.

Jeffreys Bay’s original Boot Sale, featuring an array of thrift items and bargains, will also be part of the evening. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to enjoy this family event.

Mobile mammogram service

From December 2 to 20, a mobile unit specializing in mammography and breast ultrasounds will be stationed at Fountains Mall, providing world-class breast cancer screening to local residents.

The unit is equipped with top-tier technology and staffed entirely by women to ensure comfort and privacy. Appointments can be booked by calling 076 199 9849. Both medical aid and private fees are accepted.
