Top Jeffreys Bay surfer, Joshé Faulkner, clinched the 54th South African Open Men’s Champion title in four- to five-foot surf at the 2019 Mercedes-Benz SA Surfing Championships hosted by Buffalo City Municipality. In 2015, Faulkner won the u.20 division at the SA Championships in Richards Bay, and came second (u.16 division) at the 2015 ISA Word Junior Championships in Ecuador. photo:IAN THURTELL
