A Humansdorp local is one of six finalists from across Africa in seasonthe 2 of “The Unbreakable Entrepreneur” competition.

Rochey Walters, popularly known as “Stone”, is the founder of Khoi Kulcha, a label that honours the spirit of South Africa’s first nation.

Among his range of products are clothing and tea, branded with the eye-catching Khoi Kulcha label.

The competition is an initiative of “Can Do!”, the consumer-facing brand of Africa’s biggest aluminium can manufacturer, Nampak Bevcan.

Now in its second season, it aims to recognise and inspire young entrepreneurs who can proudly say that “like a can, I am unbreakable”.

Kouga Executive Mayor Horatio Hendricks congratulated Stone on his achievement.

“Young entrepreneurs have a powerful role to play in growing our country’s economy. We are proud of what Stone is doing and the manner he is inspiring other young people to take charge of their futures and honour their roots.”
