SAARP Jbay Social Club:
Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month. The next meeting is at 10:00 on 18 September at the Bowls Club, but come and enjoy free tea and sandwiches from 09:15. Milkwood Saturday Market:
Drive in and browse through our local friendly market under the milkwood trees, on 13 September from 09:00 to 13:00 (weather permitting) and then again 27 September. The Winter season opens at 09:00. They are located on the GLA road next to the Fountains Mall. Home-made crafts, clothing, homemade goods, fresh vegetables, flowers, honey, braai goods, biltong, farm fresh meat, good food and more are sold.
Heritage Day Garden Fair & Picnic:
The fair and picnic will take place at Twin Valley from 09:00 to 16:00. Jeffreys Bay’s most beautiful garden invites families to a day of food, fun, trails and tunes. Expect family-friendly activities, swimming, jumping castle, scenic walks, birdwatching, food stalls with tasty treats and beverages, not forgetting some great music. Plaasbasaar, Patensie:
The annual “Plaasbasaar” of the Dutch Reformed Church is on Saturday, 4 October at Endulini, 3.5km west of Patensie. Come early for the famous farm breakfast! There will be a fruit- and vegetable market, meat market, deli, tea garden, a variety of refreshments and fun for the kids. An auction will take place at 11:00. Card facilities available.
