A section of Da Gama Road at Kabeljous, Jeffreys Bay, will be closed to traffic today and tomorrow (November 1 and 2), so as to allow for the installation of new water and stormwater pipes.
Infrastructure and Engineering Portfolio Councillor Freddy Campher said motorists would be able to make use of a detour via Kabeljous Road, Christiaan and Melkhout Streets during this time.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. The installation of the new pipes is part of the municipality’s ongoing efforts to improve and expand service delivery to all communities,” he said.
