Cycling enthusiasts (from left) Berrie van der Westhuizen (Treasurer), Joseph Dauth (Chairperson), Leandri Dauth (Honorary Secretary) and Kobus de Beer (Vice-Chairperson) launched a new cycling club in Jeffreys Bay, Kouga Cyclepaths Cycling Club. The club is affiliated with Cycling SA and East Cape Cycling, making it the only registered cycling club in the region. The objective of the club is to promote cycling and create a platform for riders of all fitness levels to enjoy the sport. A social ride – 15km, 25km and 60km – takes place every Saturday.
