Businesses light up Kouga

In In a bid to spread holiday cheer among residents, local businesses and visitors, Kouga Municipality – in conjunction with the Kouga Business Forum (KBF) and Kouga Tourism – held its first-ever Light Up Kouga competition. The competition encouraged businesses to adorn their premises with Christmas lights and decorations in a bid to claim bragging rights and prizes, as well as to help Kouga to become the events capital of South Africa. Apart from bragging rights, the winning business received a trophy, certificate and free marketing. The winners are (from left) Annette Herselman from Mr Pell’s House (third place), Gerhard Mans from The Potters Building (first place), Carin Scheepers from Tolbos (second place), Kouga Community Services Portfolio Councillor Daniel Benson and KBF Chairperson Joe Ferreira.
