Broncos 10s’ Festival promises action-packed weekend

HUMANSDORP – Sports enthusiasts can look forward to an action-packed weekend when the Broncos 10s’ Festival takes place at Kruisfontein Sport Complex in Humansdorp on 31 October and 1 November, bringing together rugby, netball and motorsport in a celebration of sport, entertainment and community.

A two-day programme for all tastes

The festival is the flagship annual event of Broncos 10s and is expected to attract between 500 and 750 participants, with more than 1,000 supporters and spectators expected daily.

The event will also feature live social media coverage, extending the reach of the festival beyond those attending in person.

The two-day programme will feature women’s rugby, men’s rugby, netball and a motor stance exhibition, offering something for a wide range of sporting and automotive enthusiasts.

The organisers anticipate that teams and supporters will travel from several provinces to attend the festival, contributing to what is expected to be one of Broncos 10s’ biggest events to date.

The festival forms part of an ambitious programme for Broncos 10s during 2026.

In addition to hosting its flagship festival, the club plans to participate in six other events at venues including Joubertina, Uniondale, George, Gqeberha and potentially Cape Town and KuGompo City later in the year.

According to the organisers, the events provide an opportunity to showcase local sporting talent while creating platforms for communities, players and supporters to connect through sport.

Broncos 10s representative, Jeandré Fortuin, said, “We are excited about what lies ahead for Broncos 10s and the opportunities these events create for players, supporters and the wider community. Our goal is to build an event that brings people together through sport, entertainment and a shared passion for competition.

“We are looking forward to welcoming teams and supporters and making the 2026 season one to remember.”

Sponsors invited to come on board

To help make the festival and its broader programme a success, Broncos 10s is also reaching out to businesses and potential partners for support.

The club is seeking sponsorship and contributions in various forms, including vouchers, prizes, promotional support and other assistance.

Such partnerships could provide businesses with an opportunity to gain visibility among participants, supporters and spectators attending the events.

The organisers have indicated that their existing sponsorship proposal provides an overview of the opportunities available, but they would welcome a meeting with prospective sponsors to provide a more detailed presentation and discuss possible avenues of support.
