“Six subjects achieved an impressive above 70 percent class average, further exemplifying the commitment and hard work of our learners. These subjects include English First Additional Language, Mathematical Literacy, Life Orientation, Tourism, Dramatic Arts, and Visual Arts.”

Kleyn said that Louw-Rean Fourie, their top achiever, not only secured the first position in their matric class but also received the prestigious honour of being awarded the Top Academic Achiever within an Independent School in the Eastern Cape, at the Provincial Awards Ceremony held in East London.

He said that they extend their heartfelt congratulations to all the matriculants for their outstanding accomplishments.

While celebrating the matric results of 2023 at GLA, Kleyn said that he wanted to take a moment to applaud Fourie’s incredible achievements.

“He walked away with a laptop, tablet, and a bursary to fuel his journey toward becoming an electrical engineer. It’s a big deal, and we’re seriously proud. Here’s to more heights in his future,” said Kleyn.
