Since its establishment in 2014, the annual JBay Winter Skins Fishing competition has brought over 100 competitive and social fishermen together to compete in the rock and surf fishing competition.
This year’s fishing competition will take place on July 9 from 07:00 to 12:00 from the Kabeljauws surf. Fantastic hourly prizes will be up for grabs with the focus on fun for the entire family; the event is not to be missed.
The total prizes, worth over R100 000, will focus on fishing tackle, with Penn Power hour, Assassin (the bonus casting competition), Commercial Marine hour and Angling and Marine Connection hour.
The cash hour will be a mix of cash prizes and fabulous shopping vouchers, food, accommodation, and super activities.
Tickets are R250 for men, R150 for women and R100 for children under the age of 16 and are on sale at Commercial Marine, Angling and Marine Connection and various other tackle shops or directly from Sonya who can be contacted on 078 087 2806.
Participants should make sure to buy their fresh bait and tackle for the best chance to win Skins’ amazing prizes.
