KBT Entertainment is set to present Miss Mini Jou-Beauty at the Ravinia New Hall in Joubertina at 17:00 on April 30.
Contestants between the ages of 7 to 12 can enter.
The dress code is smart casual and formal, while introduction wear will be provided for all young beauties.
“The purpose of the pageant is to give young girls from the community something to look forward to and, essentially, keep them off the streets,” says event organiser Samantha Kapank.
“By building self-esteem, combatting idle behaviour and create awareness about the importance of eduction, we want to develop role models.”
Great prizes are up for grabs: a photoshoot, Smart watches, an eyebrow tint, headphones, audio docks, notepads and pens and a selfie stick.
The entry fee for contestants is R20, while the audience fee to the beauty pageant is R20 for adults and R10 for scholars
