THE 13th annual Pam Golding Properties Canals Winter Challenge is set to take to the water on Sunday, July 22.
The doubles race consists of a 20km and 10km event.
Loads of prizes are up for grabs. The first three participants crossing the finish line in the 20km event, will paddle away with a combined prize money of R3 000. Winners in the following categories will also receive prizes: ladies, mixed, over 55, guppies, juniors and first locals to cross the finish line.
A Carbonology Split Paddles can also be won during the lucky draw.
The race kicks off at Quaysyde at 10:00.
The entry fee is R150 per person and includes a light lunch.
