Jeffreys Bay residents can now enjoy their favourite gourmet cuisine or fast-food meal at their home or at the office – all at the tap of a finger.
Powered by Phoenix Tech Solutions, in conjunction with Riksha Tours, the newly-launched application, JBayEats – an online meal ordering and delivery service – has partnered with the best local restaurants to get residents the food they want delivered faster.
“The app gives residents access to various restaurants from across Jeffreys Bay, enabling them to order from sushi to pasta or burgers, as well as with the added benefit of customised orders,” says Phoenix Tech Solutions owner, Gerhard Mans.
“Residents order food via the app, which sends the request straight to in-restaurant technology. The restaurant makes the food, while the closest available driver will collect the food and deliver it quicker than ever before.
“Location-based geo-targeting and real-time order tracking, make the system super-fast and effective.”
According to Mans, restaurants can tap into the JBayEats delivery network to expand their business and reach a new network of customers – giving them scope to expand beyond their brick-and-mortar operations – while delivery partners have access to even more flexible earning opportunities.
“We look forward to making life more tasty, accessible and more convenient,” says Mans who wants to expand the app to include other towns as well.
How it works
To order food via JBayEats is as easy as one, two, three.
First, residents must go to their browser and type in jbayeats.com to be redirected to the app. A pop-up to add the app to the home screen, will appear – tap on it to install.
Lastly, register your account.
“Residents can click on their favourite restaurant for their full menu,” says Mans.
“Once they have placed their order, they can either opt for delivery or pick-up before selecting the payment method.”
Restaurants already available on the app, include Potter’s Plaaskombuis, WeiKo Food, The Wildside Pub and Grub, Bay Pasta Co, Brewhaha, Nina’s Real Food, Inge’s Artisan Kitchen, Tampa Bay Spur, Suikerbossie and Jolly Dolphin.
