Kabeljauws Equestrian hosted a Training, Jumping and Riding Show on April 22, consisting of a combination of showing, working, riding and show jumping classes for all levels of riding.
A special entertainment class was also shown by Cassandra Boshoff with her horse, Trevor, Carmien Coetzee with Lord Arthur, and Simoné Cilliers with World Premier, where they did various liberty tricks and showed that there is more to horses than just riding.
“Our main aim for hosting training riding events is to open more opportunities for all the locals in Jeffrey’s Bay and surrounding areas. We want to create a fun and stress-free show environment, where the focus is more on getting together as a community and enjoying the sport, more than necessarily winning the class, and to create a space where young and inexperienced horses and riders can build confidence to perform in front of a crowd, and to show what skills they have learnt,” says Simoné Cilliers from Kabeljauws Equestrian.
