After receiving an influx of puppies over the weekend of June 17 and 18, non-profit organisation, JBay Animal Rescue Sanctuary, is hoping to find new homes for five of their puppies.
Thankfully, after featuring Shelley, a cat in need of a home in Kouga Express’s June 8 edition, manager Cindy Muller said she was finally adopted.
She said that after reading about Shelley in the newspaper, the cat’s new owner sent her a picture of the article to inquire about adopting her.
“Shelley has a home of her own and does not need to stay on the shelves in the cattery anymore,” said Muller.
