Kouga Municipality, in conjunction with Kouga Express and Oasis FM, is once again set to honour the wonderful and vibrant women in the community and business sector that make a powerful and impactful difference in their respective communities – big or small – in celebration of Women’s Month (August).
Whether these women own a business, assist with feeding the hungry, take care of the region’s furry friends, uplift the youth, or provide a place of safety for those in need.

The successful inaugural competition saw Sam Huisamen from Smashed Professional Beauty in Jeffreys Bay walk away as the overall winner.

How to enter
To enter or to nominate a powerful woman for the competition, send the completed nomination form (available on the Kouga Municipality Facebook Page), which includes a short motivation of why this person is a candidate for the Kouga Municipality Power(ful) Woman for 2023 competition, as well as a high-resolution photo of the nominee.
Entry is free of charge and closes at midday on August 4, 2023.

Rules
Only women who live in the Kouga region may enter.
How to send your email
Send the complete nomination to elvina@kouga.gov.za.
Include Kouga Municipality Power(ful) Woman 2023 in the subject field.
Photos must be at least 1MB in size and in jpg format.
Great prizes are up for grabs.
A panel of judges will evaluate all entries received.
The winner of the Kouga Municipality Power(ful) Woman 2023 competition will be announced at a gala event at the end of August this year.
