The La-Mer Pump Station in Diaz Road, Jeffreys Bay, has recently undergone a cutting-edge transformation, with a substantial R400 000 investment that has revolutionised its operations, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
The enhancement encompassed the installation of a sophisticated level control instrument, along with the addition of two new motors and a generator alternator.
Kouga executive mayor, Hattingh Bornman, proudly welcomed the upgrade, saying “the integration of state-of-the-art equipment not only promises heightened efficiency, but also brings several advantages, such as improved monitoring capabilities and reduced maintenance requirements.”
“It furthermore allows for real-time data analysis, enabling swift responses to fluctuations and ensuring seamless operations,” he added.
According to Bornman, the investment in technology is a testament to the municipality’s commitment to excellence and progress.
“It underlines our dedication to providing reliable services to the community and adapting to evolving needs,” Bornman concluded.
