The Kouga Municipality is conducting a customer satisfaction survey, aiming at gaining valuable insights into residents’ experience with service delivery.

The focus is on everyday service delivery, including water, electricity, refuse removal, sanitation, and roads – with scores ranging from one to five – the former reflecting the worst opinion and the latter the best.

Kouga executive mayor, Hattingh Bornman, said that the main objective of the survey is to prioritise customer care.

The aim is to obtain a clear and comprehensive understanding of how residents perceive the services provided by the municipality.

By gathering feedback the municipality aims to identify areas of strength within its services and, equally important, address any shortcomings to make necessary improvements.

He called on all residents to make use of the platform to evaluate the municipality and to suggest areas of improvement. Participation is entirely voluntary.

The municipality will make use of digital platforms and other practical methods to communicate and receive inputs on the Customer Satisfaction Survey.

The survey is also available on Kouga Municipality’s Facebook Page, as well as at municipal offices and ward offices.

“The survey represents a significant stride in identifying the needs and expectations of residents from the municipality,” said Bornman.

“Therefore, residents’ feedback is invaluable in guiding our efforts to enhance the quality of services we provide. By participating in this survey, residents contribute directly to the betterment of the community.

“We are dedicated to ensuring that your voices are heard, and your experiences shape the future of our services.

The closing date for the survey is March 1.
