Humansdorp SAPS is investigating a case of murder after police attended to a complaint of fighting at Lungiso High School in Kwanomzamo, which resulted in a 16-year-old boy being stabbed to death.
According to police spokesperson Captain Marius McCarthy, it is alleged that on Wednesday, October 23, at about 11:00, a group of students at Lungiso High School in Kwanomzamo started fighting among themselves.
McCarthy said the boy, who was also a scholar was stabbed and rushed to Humansdorp Hospital by private transport but was declared dead on arrival.
He added that there have been no arrests so far; however, the investigation continues.
