Ace Models Kouga recently captured the spotlight at the annual Ace Models National Conference (AMNC) 2024, held at the Emerald Casino in Vanderbijl Park, Gauteng.
This celebrated gathering unites models from all Ace Models franchises across South Africa.
This year’s event was a vibrant showcase of talent, competition, and camaraderie, offering participants a unique blend of thrilling experiences and professional growth opportunities.
The 2024 conference embraced the theme “Eras,” which inspired models to embody different periods and express their individuality on the runway. The weekend was brimming with energy and activities, from lively social events like a traditional sokkie dance to pageant and catwalk castings, culminating in a spectacular showcase.
Standout performances were delivered by local talent from Ace Models Kouga, Joshua Jansen and Conrad van der Westhuizen, who both made significant strides in their modelling journeys.
Joshua earned multiple accolades, including the coveted Senior Beauty Photogenic Award and the prestigious title of Senior Mr Ace Models International 2024. His impressive achievements also included Top 5 placements in both the Senior Catwalk (Beginners) and Senior Pageant (Beginners) categories.
Conrad, demonstrating his remarkable talent, secured a Top 5 spot in the 20+ age group Pageant Casting.
Elené Rautenbach and Luzelle Oelofse also represented Ace Models Kouga with distinction, captivating judges and audiences alike with their skilful and confident performances.
In a statement, Ace Models Kouga said that the success of this year’s conference would not have been possible without the steadfast support of the models’ parents. The team also thanked Nadia van der Westhuizen, whose tireless efforts as an assistant were instrumental in the event’s success.
