Weightlifting enjoyed a stellar night at the Pellsrus Primary School Sports Awards, held on November 12 at Newton Hall in Jeffreys Bay.

- Certificate for Best u/10 Male – Ruwellyn Bantom
- Certificate for Best u/14 Male – Jason Hallem
- Certificate for Best u/12 Female – Sue Kelly Ruiters

Established on May 2, 2024, the Pellsrus Primary School weightlifting club boasts impressive results for the year 2024: two South African Champions and one silver medallist at the South African Championships, along with six Eastern Cape Champions and one silver and one bronze medal at the Eastern Cape Championships.
Additionally, Ruwellyn Bantom, Jason Hallem, and Theolien Ruiters were awarded the Champion of Champions Trophies at the Eastern Cape Championships.
