EASTERN CAPE – Farmers and farm managers in the Patensie and Addo area will have the opportunity on 24 February (Patensie) and 25 February (Addo) to see first-hand how simple agricultural technology can reduce administration and improve decision-making at the AgriTech Solutions’ free mini-expo.

The expo will be hosted at Die Grand (Patensie) and Addo Wildlife (Addo) and will focus on practical solutions that can be easily and realistically implemented on farms.

Maydiene Peter, Business Development Manager at WorkLight, said, “Technology is no longer about big buzzwords; it’s about doing the same work in less time and with less hassle.”

As technology plays an increasingly important role in the agricultural sector, local producers are following global trends by turning field data into faster, more effective decisions.

With improved network coverage in rural areas and more accessible solutions, farmers are increasingly adopting digital tools to manage resources more efficiently and boost productivity.

What to expect at the mini-expo:

Participants will see how technology can add real value on the farm through the following talks and demonstrations:

Adagin Technologies will demonstrate what precision farming looks like in practice – from harvesting and packing to productivity management.

WorkLight will focus on technology that simplifies administration and frees up more time for productive work.

The event is aimed at farmers, farm managers, human resources managers, financial managers, and other decision-makers in the Patensie area who want to use technology in a practical way to save time and resources.
