KAREEDOUW – More than a week after the mysterious disappearance of Tristan Ehrenreich, on 23 November the 28-year-old man was found in the bushes just a few kilometres away from the area where his motor vehicle was previously found.
As previously reported, Tristan’s vehicle was found on the roadside on the R102 near Oudebosch Farmstall in Kareedouw on 15 November.
At the time, police spokesperson Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli said that he was not found in his vehicle and a search was immediately launched.
Finally, he was found in the bushes on 23 November around 07:30, just a few kilometres away from the area where his motor vehicle was found last week.
“A seemingly disoriented and dehydrated Tristan was found. He received medical treatment at the nearest hospital,” said Nkohli.
A family member, Taryn Ehrenreich, posted on social media that she was overjoyed and deeply grateful to share that Tristan had been found safe.
“Thank you to every single person who prayed, shared the posts, searched, supported, and stood with us during this incredibly difficult time. Your love, compassion, and action made a difference,” said Taryn.
“All glory and thanks to God for His protection, guidance, and for bringing Tristan back to us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.”
