KAREEDOUW – Police are seeking the assistance of the public in finding Tristan Ehrenreich (28), who was reported missing in Kareedouw on 15 November.

According to police spokesperson Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli, police found the vehicle that Ehrenreich was travelling in on 15 November on the roadside on the R102 near Oudebosch Farmstall in Kareedouw.

“It is believed that the vehicle veered off the road and overturned. Ehrenreich was not found, and a search was immediately launched,” said Nkohli.

He further said that a thermal drone was also utilised on the evening of 16 November, but with no success.

Nkohli said that on 17 November, the search and rescue team was joined by the Air Wing and K-9 unit from Gqeberha, as well as other stakeholders.

Police are urging anyone with information about the whereabouts of Ehrenreich to contact the investigating officer, Detective Warrant Officer Jacques Le Roux at 066 255 6240.
