The United Barbarians Rugby Club of Patensie is gearing up for its fifth consecutive annual Golf Day, set to take place on 15 November, at the prestigious Hankey Country Club.
Shannon Slabbert, Secretary of the United Barbarians, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming event.
“Our fundraising has been a success over the past few years, and we haven’t disappointed anyone,” said Slabbert.
“Our players who participate in our fundraising always leave with smiles on their faces.”
This year’s golf day will feature a 2-Ball Alliance competition format, with an entry fee of R300 per player.
The fee includes access to both a halfway house and water holes, ensuring that participants enjoy a complete golfing experience while supporting a worthy cause.
The United Barbarians are extending a warm invitation to golf enthusiasts far and wide.
“We invite people from all over the globe to come and be part of this fundraising event for our club,” said Slabbert.
